We produced Gimme a Rose in 2010 to advocate for peace. I was then a refugee in my own home because two political parties were at war over who won the elections. The resulting violence led to a loss of 1,300 lives and 600,000 people displaced.
We never imagined that our county could slide that low but every election year we seem to be dithering once more at the edge of a precipice and only God Almighty can save us from foul mouthed leaders who want that prize at any price.
This message is more relevant now than then. There is clear need to Act Now on peace situation in Kenya.
